“Necromanscer” by Government Overdose Department (Classical Artist from United Kingdom)

"Necromanscer" by the Government Overdose Department is a creative and unusual mix of classical piano and deep, experimental vocals. The CD is a delightful yet unusual presentation of many well known classics from several countries. The piano work on the CD is clearly the work of an accomplished musician. The vocal style adds the uniqueness and creativity to the CD, since the vocals appear to be intended to create a more experimental/alternative flavor to the classic piano sound. This results in a unique combination that proves an innovative combination. The lyrics on the tracks are very humorous in places. "Ol Man River" is an old American classic most children learn or at least have heard in elementary school. "Caro Mio Ben" a presentation in the original language. The orchestral opening in "Droop Not Young Lover" is very typical for the period piece making one see the time of King Henry the V111. "Silvery Light" by DJ Nagual is a high fashion dance album that is both mysterious and unique. The sound is deep and whispery with pulsy rhythms and nice layers. Production-wise, this album is well-mixed and radio-ready. One key to dance music is to be interestingly repetitive, and this album achieves this goal quite well. "Two Needles and Six Wires" by Six Wires (Spiritual Artist from Japan)

The self titled "Two Needles and Six Wires" is an experimental and largely improvisational Avant Garde album brought to you by the Japanese duo of Takahiro Inoue and DJ Jet Sonic. The sounds of nature is a big influence in this piece of work. That is about the only normal thing about it. The ride is a wild one with crazy burping guitar sounds, freakish electronic arrangements and an overall disturbed tone. It's kind of like they took extremely pleasant sounds and threw them into a nightmare. Pretty fun if you ask me. Highlights are "Green" with detuned electric guitar over a soundscape, sounding like some strange animal. "Underground" is full of that burping guitar and slippery synths. "Time" features distorted bubble synths and "out there" bluesy guitar. If you like Experimental and Improvisational music, give this one a go.

“I Wonder To Myself” by Bob Long and Keith Miller (Blues Artist from United Kingdom)

"I Wonder To Myself" by Bob Long and Keith Miller is an authentic collection of old time blues tracks. This is a delightful and original rendition of old favorites. The vocals and use of guitar, harmonica, kazoo and jug give the CD that wonderfully delightful flavor of years ago when music gave the color of early America. The musicians are talented, and vocals are clear and sharp and have the feel of the era. The simple production of the mainly acoustic instruments on this CD, and mostly single-take recording is a perfect fit for the songs on this CD. Tommy Johnson's lyrics in "I Wonder To Myself" gives the common themes of the time (1929) when transportation was much slower. This song also gives hints of the racial problems of the era. The acoustic guitar, harmonica and kazoo musical accompaniment provide an outstanding musical landscape for this song. "Me and the Devil Blues" features an innovative harp sound that makes the impressive harp solo even more effective. "I Couldn't Help It" is a nice glimpse into the highlights of this CD, with a nice acoustic guitar groove, effective 2-part harmony vocals and scorching harmonica riffs. This CD is an excellent selection for the blues lover or for the collector of authentic music of American history.

From jazz, to the Latin rhythms and sensual love songs displayed on this CD, the musical variety makes the CD more interesting from a listener's perspective, and demonstrates the impressive flexibility and versatility of Maria's vocals. “Xtacy” by Madison X (Hip-Hop Artist from Tennessee(TN))

"Xtacy" by Madison X is an attention-grabbing collection of energetic and highly dancable hip-hop tunes. Bangin' beats, catchy musical leads, and free-flowing lyrical arrangements lay the foundation of this very memorable album. One of the most appealing aspects of this CD is the poetic and skillful rhymes used to tackle topics like street life, money, and sex appeal. The lyrically autobiographical "It's Showtime" stands out, in that it provides a clear example of Madison X's noncompromising, straighforward, and down-to-earth rapping style. "Kill Myself" shines with its more mellow instrumental composition and Madison X's rapid-fire rapping. Moreover, "Cover Girl" flaunts a very contagious rhythm and percussion arrangement, and introduces a memorable female-sung chorus. With solid and creative production. There is no question that this CD is ready for the airwaves and the dance-floor. Fans of Eminem and Lil' Wayne will find a ton of new favorites on "Xtacy." (Explicit Lyrics)

"Work In Progress...." by Antagonics is a Spanish alternative rock album that combines a gritty punk sound with beautiful, catchy melodies. The sound of this band is unique in that it draws its power from both rebellion and sensitivity. Some songs are purely edgy and rebellious in nature, while others lean more toward the emo side of the rock spectrum.
